The Inland Empire Regional Health Technology Summit will bring together health technology professionals from area organizations to discuss the latest trends and innovations in the healthcare technology industry. Discussions and interactive sessions will be directed toward the objectives of shared learning, regional networking, and innovation in a warm and welcoming environment. Topic discussions will be designed to cultivate deeper understandings of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, mobile technology, clinical data integration, telemedicine, and more.

What is the summit and who may attend?

The Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) will be sponsoring the premier hosting of The Inland Empire Health Technology Summit on May 16th, 2019. The Summit will be tailored toward those currently working as healthcare information technology professionals in the Inland Empire area. Those who work in conjunction with IEHP are particularly encouraged to attend.

Topic discussions will be designed to cultivate deeper understandings of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, mobile technology, clinical data integration, telemedicine, and more.

What is the structure?

Breakfast and Registration will begin at 8am on the day of the event. Following a kick-off at 9am, the Summit will begin with an address from Keynote speaker Mark Gilbert. Attendees may choose between a selection of demo lounges and breakout sessions. Lunch and a Best Practices Exhibition will also be available in between the sessions. Select attendance to a CIO Forum will also be offered. The day will end at 3pm after a closing address.

Those who work as technology professionals for health-based organizations within the Inland Empire are invited to attend. You may register to attend by visiting HealthTechSummit.iehp.org and selecting “Register” through the RSVP option of the website’s menu at the top of the page. No fees are required for attendance.

What is it about?
A.

Planning and hosting the Summit was motivated by IEHP’s interest in cultivating strong, community-focused relationships with local healthcare organizations and partners. Through a shared education of best practices and future technology capabilities, the Inland Empire community as a whole will be better able to explore and deploy meaningful technology.
